Energy Networks Association comments on the availability of coronavirus testing for key workers

The government has announced that key workers and their families will be eligible for testing for the coronavirus.

Commenting on the availability of testing for coronavirus being made for key workers, Paul Fidler, Director of Operations at Energy Networks Association, said:

“Testing all key workers is critical in our efforts to manage the coronavirus pandemic and we welcome the government’s announcement. We have one of the most reliable electricity networks in the world, supported by a dedicated workforce of 36,000 people. Now more than ever, millions of people are relying on those teams to keep the energy flowing to our homes and vital community services like hospitals, care homes and supermarkets.”
